Happy Mother’s Day from up above,

I’m sending this to you with all of my love.

I wish I could be there on this your special day.

But, know that I think of you each and every day.

Although the distance between us seems so great at times,

Remember, I’m always with you, just a step behind.

I’m the gentlest of breezes you feel on your face.

I’m the warm sunny morning you wake with such grace.

Don’t be sad today I know you miss me so.

Keep the happy thoughts and memories in your heart aglow.

Don’t think of me as gone, only just out of sight.

And know that I’m happy and safe as you go to sleep at night.

It won’t be long till we’re together again.

God doesn’t lie Mom, trust in Him till then.

So, when you arrive I’ll be waiting for you,

For we have so much catching up to do.

Enjoy your day the best you can,

Remembering just how much I love you again and again.
